Sean is the youngest child in a family of four siblings; he grew up in Silver Spring/Olney Maryland, and went to Sherwood High School. After matriculation, Sean enrolled at the University of California, where he already began gaining acting experience by featuring in numerous stage productions at Groundling Theater and Playhouse West. He also worked as a waiter to support himself, and did numerous commercials before his debut came, but that all helped him. Sean`s acting debut happened in 1990, in an episode of the TV series “Ferris Bueller”, while the following year, he got his breakout role as Roach in Wes Craven`s horror “The People Under the Stairs”. Sean then began to build his way up in Hollywood, and secured roles in numerous films during the 1990s, although the majority were brief roles in not so popular films. However, a few of them stand out – in 1993 he appeared in Avi Nesher`s “Doppelganger”, starring Drew Barrymore; two years later he featured in Kevin Reynolds’ Oscar-nominated sci-fi adventure “Waterworld” with Kevin Costner and Dennis Hopper; and in 1996 he was cast as Allan Sanders in Jan de Bont’s “Twister” with Helen Hunt, Bill Paxton and Cary Elwes. Before the end of the decade, Sean had roles in “Idle Hands” (1999), and “Never Been Kissed” (1999), which further added to his net worth.
With the beginning of the new millennium, Sean continued to pile up roles in films and TV series, startingd with an appearance in the television film “Perfect Murder, Perfect Town: Jon Benét and the City of Boulder”, and then in 2003 featured in “The Hebrew Hammer” (2003), starring Adam Goldberg, Judy Greer and Andy Dick. Two years later he was cast in the crime drama “Chasing Ghosts” with Michael Madsen, while in 2004 he was selected for the role of Coach Pearson in the TV series “Unfabulous” (2004-2007), then from 2007 until 2011 he appeared in the recurring role of Carl Ferret in the soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful”. In the last several years, Sean has appeared in numerous films, mostly minor and not worth mentioning, but some of them stand out, including in “All Superheroes Must Die” (2011), “Hatchet” (2013), starring Danielle Harris, “Caesar and Otto’s Paranormal Halloween” (2015), and in the TV series “Superstore” (2015-2016). Sean also has several projects that are in the process of production, including “Ugly Sweater Party” (2016), “Death House” (2017), “Rich Boy, Rich Girl” (2017), among others.
Regarding his personal life, Sean has two children with Deborah S. Katz to whom he is married, however, according to most recent reports, Deborah has apparently filed for divorce.
